New publication alert! This study simulated effects of nutrient reduction goals in the Gulf of Mexico on fisheries species. Total biomass was not strongly affected by nutrient and hypoxia reductions, but distribution was. A researcher position is available at the Morgan State University Patuxent Environmental and Aquatic Research Laboratory (PEARL).

The successful candidate will apply Ecospace modeling software to develop a new model and simulate a wide range of spatially explicit management strategies intended to control the rapidly expanding invasive Blue Catfish (Ictalurus furcatus) in Chesapeake Bay tributaries. The Research Fellow will work closely with Dr. Tom Ihde, who will supervise the overall project.
