The most recent Beta program, EwE 6.5, closed at the end of June 2016. There is no new Beta program scheduled yet.
Through the Beta program EwE users are invited to use and provide feedback on a release candidate of the Ecopath with Ecosim desktop software. A Beta typically runs for one month, during which bug reports are handled with utmost priority to release a community tested version of EwE soon after.
The Beta programs are funded by Ecopath Research and Development Consortium member institutes in order to keep the EwE approach available free of cost. If you, dear user, wish to contribute please consider taking out a support contract or consider co-developing EwE features with the EwE development team.
