The new version of EwE6, version 6.2, is available for download. We ran a very successful Beta test period during May and June, and we want to express our thanks to all of the users that took their time to work with us to make this release better.

Version 6.2 focuses primarily on memory usage and performance. The EwE6 core and user interface have been thoroughly checked for proper memory usage, and fundamental fixes have been made resulting in a significantly more robust version of EwE6. Other changes include:

• The ability to sketch fishing mortality is back after many requests
• User interface tweaks will make your life easier working with EwE, such as presentation mode (F11), more explicit edit or display tools, reorganization of toolbars, removed unnecessary or repreated prompts, etc.
• More results have ben made available from Ecosim, Ecospace and Monte Carlo,
• ..and many other changes that should make this version easier to work with than before.
