Introduction to Ecopath with Ecosim

When February every year
Duration 3 days
Price £300 ex VAT
Language English
Location Oban (UK)

This three-day course will assume no prior knowledge of food-web modelling and is suitable for undergraduate and post-graduate students wishing to gain a solid introduction to the trophic modelling software, Ecopath, and its ecological network analysis interface. The time will be split between lectures and tutorials, with a focus on hands-on development of simple models from scratch, using the software. This course will give the participants an understanding of the theory behind the software and the confidence to construct and interpret basic ecosystem models.

In this five-day workshop, users of the Ecopath with Ecosim ecosystem model version 6 (EwE6) will learn to use the EwE6 programming model as a starting point for developing custom models and modules to further their research, to connect to other modelling software, and to automate tasks working with EwE6.

For 2013 the course is full, we have reached max capacity.

If you have any questions or suggestions please contact us.
